• Backing Board Options

  • Standard HDF (lacquered) – Precision CNC-cut high-density fiberboard, reinforced with three offset aluminum retainers for factory-style clips. OEM-style, strong and durable, just like original door cards.

  • (NEW) Optional Polymer Backing – A premium upgrade that won’t absorb moisture or degrade when exposed to humidity. About 500 g lighter per set and perfect insurance against damaged screen foils or water leaks.

• New Plastic Clips – For secure, rattle-free installation.

• CNC-Machined Aluminum Speaker Grilles – Choose between raw aluminium or satin black powdercoat finish. Both come with acoustic fabric for optimal sound quality.

• OEM-Quality Upholstery – Automotive-grade suede or PU leather for long-lasting durability. Custom fabrics also available (see below).

• Optional Porsche OEM Door Strap Pulls – Available in multiple strap colors (select from dropdown).

Fitment & Compatibility

• Fits Mazda MX-5 NA (1989–1997).

• Compatible with cars that have separate OEM plastic speaker covers and with US-spec door tops (’97 NA) — requires only a couple of extra mounting holes drilled in our door cards to attach top padding - very easy to do on your own

• Cutouts included for the armrest/door handle and manual window crank, but upholstery is left uncut. This gives you the choice of a clean, strap-only look or reusing your existing handles. (We can pre-cut fabric upon request at checkout or via email.)

Options & Customization

• Bare Card Option – Includes base board (HDF or polymer), CNC retainers, clips, and cutouts, but excludes upholstery.

• (NEW) Speaker Grille Delete – If you’d prefer no grilles or openings, simply choose "no speaker covers" option in speaker cover selection menu. Fabric will remain uncut in speaker area in this case.

• (NEW) Speaker Covers Fastener Color Choices – Standard silver and black optional, free of charge red, or purple. Leave note in cart which color you prefere. If you won´t leave a note silver covers will ship with silver fastener, black covers with black fasteners.
  
  (NEW) Bespoke Fabrics – We can upholster in classic VW GTI tartan, Recaro/Porsche pepita houndstooth, plain Alcantara, Westfalia plaid, and many more. Just send us a message — custom fabrics usually add €50–100 per set.

Important Information

• Not Included: Door handles, handle cups, or upper door trim (reuse your existing parts).

• Made to Order: Please allow up to 2 weeks for production (usually sooner).

• Complete Set: All prices shown are for both left and right door cards.

Shipping Considerations

Door cards are shipped in flat boxes, making them challenging to ship with bulky items. If you plan to order large parts like engine mounts or other heavy items, please contact us beforehand to calculate shipping costs. Smaller or flatter items, like end links, diff braces, fender vents, and rack spacers, are fine to ship together.
