NB (98–05) – Suspension, Brakes & Wheels

This section focuses on suspension, braking, and wheel upgrades designed to complement the more rigid and refined NB MX-5 chassis. With increased structural stiffness compared to the earlier platform, the NB responds especially well to precise suspension control and balanced braking performance.

Popular upgrades include our reinforced anti-roll bar mounts, which minimise flex and help maintain consistent suspension behaviour under load. Combined with adjustable anti-roll bar drop links, they allow accurate preload control and more predictable handling response.

Correct steering geometry is equally important for stability and precision. Our bumpsteer elimination spacers for NB help restore proper steering angles and reduce unwanted toe change during suspension travel, improving front-end confidence — particularly on lowered or performance-oriented setups.

Brake performance also benefits from proper cooling. The brake duct kit directs airflow to critical areas, helping maintain consistent braking performance and reducing heat-related fade during spirited driving.
